Panta Rei is a short documentary film created during the travelling residency Visioni in Movimento, The film follows the river Dora Baltea in Valle d’Aosta, tracing its course through the eyes of those who live nearby: an elderly painter tracing its flowing paths, a young woman carrying the memory of floods, a fisherman at the water’s edge, and a walker who has witnessed the river’s transformations over the past forty year

Through their stories and gestures, the film reflects on the intertwined lives of humans and rivers, the transformations of landscapes, and the consequences of our interventions. Through gestures, stories, and moments of attentive observation, it captures the delicate coexistence between people and water between memory, change, and the living flow of the river itself.
